The next lap of the race isn’t ’til Monday, but you didn’t really think that you could untuck in the meantime, did you?
Good, because we’ve put together a roundup of all things Drag Race to hold you over until Monday’s newest episode.
For those of you in NYC, you can join us at XL Nightclub for Rockit Friday on February 3rd for what is sure to be a sickning drag race extravaganza.
Reigning queens BeBe, Tyra, and Raja will be joining fan favorites from seasons past Ongina, Jujubee, and Carmen Carrera for what is sure to be a slew of spectacular performances. The queens will be joined by season four native New Yorkers Milan and Jiggly Caliente as well as the soon-to-be-if-not-already fan favorite Sharon Needles.
Just in case that doesn’t sound fierce enough for you, the performances will be hosted by drag world power couple Manila Luzon and Sahara Davenport AND feature guest judge Mike Ruiz.
Before heading over for a Friday full of Tranny Chasing, be sure to check out a couple of interviews we’ve rounded up:
- Up first, Alisa Summers dishes on being the first queen to get sent packing and how she feels about her less than brilliant attempt at performing “Toxic”. Alisa, trying to pin her loss on Britney, immediately loses half of her following who happens to be Britney stans. The other five remain faithful groupies.
- Ghoulishly ferocious Sharon Needles swung by Atlanta to talk drag with Fenuxe, Atlanta’s gay lifestyle magazine.
- Last up, Rich Juzwiak spent some time with the only true queen of drag, RuPaul, digging up some not to be missed insight into the glamazon’s outlook on life. While you’re at it, check out Rich’s post on his blog, fourfour, with the outtakes that didn’t make it into his profile, including a regal portait of Ru, painted by long-time boyfriend Georges LeBar
Must be nice to be flawless
